INTEGRAL ANTI-ICE SYSTEM WITH HEATING ELEMENTS BASED ON POLYSILOXONE COMPOSITION
Abstract
The characteristics of an integral anti-icing system with a heating element made on the basis of a polysiloxane composition are considered in that paper. It is shown that the heating element from polysiloxane composition has the high mechanical properties (abrasion resistance, adhesion to carbon fiber) in a wide temperature range [-50÷100]оС. The experimental results are showing that the average heating power of such a heating element is comparable to the corresponding value of the heating element from F-4 CSC 1.2 fluoroplast.
