The first attempt to enter the VAK List was unsuccessful for our journal. From the table of the VAK Presidium with all the positive recommendations it went into the "basket". Well, the first pancake is lumpy. Let's use the time machine and take into account the next release of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
"The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation has submitted a draft order "On Amending the Rules for Forming a List of Peer-Reviewed Scientific Publications in Which the Main Scientific Results of Dissertations for the Degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the Degree of Doctor of Sciences, and the Requirements for Peer-Reviewed Scientific Publications for Inclusion in the List of Peer-Reviewed Scientific Publications in Which the Main Scientific Results of Dissertations for the Degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the Degree of Doctor of Sciences, Approved by Order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation dated May 31, 2023 No. 534", providing for the inclusion of the Russian Center for Scientific Information in the requirements for scientific publications.
The changes are related to the fact that the Academy is creating a state database of scientific data on the basis of the Russian Center for Scientific Information.
To date, our journal is registered in both systems: in the RSCI, and now in the RNCI. We will wait for the order to be approved and submit the documents again. And now to the content of the issue, which is quite diverse and interesting. Read more in the EDITOR'S COLUMN.
