Abstract

The problems of heating a physical body (dielectrics) by transferring the energy of high-frequency electromagnetic waves (microwave waves) propagating inside the dielectric and converting the energy of electromagnetic oscillations into heat are considered. The problem of microwave heating control is solved by controlling the structure of the generated electromagnetic field, which provides the required temperature distribution over the entire volume of the dielectric. An algorithm for the selection of parameters is proposed that provides the conditions for optimal controlled microwave heating of dielectrics.
