In this issue of the journal, we publish part of the materials presented by our colleagues at the plenary session of the IX International Youth Scientific and Technical Conference "Applied Electrodynamics, Photonics and Living Systems" (MINTK PREFZHS-2022), held at KNRTU-KAI on April 26-28, 2022 within the framework of the Priority 2030 program. The conference was dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the birth of the inventor, electrical engineer Pavel Nikolayevich Yablochkov, the 100th anniversary of the birth of the physicist, inventor of the laser Nikolai Gennadievich Basov, the 90th anniversary of the formation of KNRTU-KAI and the 70th anniversary of the formation of IREF-TsT KNRTU -KAI.
